Most of their scholarships are full-right scholarships, meaning that if you receive this scholarship, it will cover your tuition fees for four years of your undergraduate degree. Technically, it is a full-right scholarship. These partial to full-funding scholarships are through their four-round application process.
You have to visit their website, fill out the form, and they will match you with one of their partner universities. Some of the big ones include Harvard University, TCU, the University of San Francisco, and many more. As you progress through each round, there are interviews, video conversations, and different tasks that you must complete to move on to the next stage.
Around March or June of the following year, you will find out if you receive the scholarship. The funding can range from partial to full tuition fees. The deadline for this scholarship varies, and they have specific eligibility requirements. Make sure you follow their website for updates and go through each round of the process.
2. You Are Welcome Here Scholarship
Now, this scholarship started as a social media campaign in 2016 where they wanted to promote the concept of US institutions being a diverse, friendly, and safe environment for international students, as all universities should be. As of 2019, there are over 300 participating institutions for this scholarship, which means that you need to look up the participating institutions. Just to name some of the big ones, we have Adelphia University,
located right in the middle of New York City, Florida Institute of Technology, George Mason University, Temple University, and the University of Maryland, just to name a few of them. When you apply to these universities, the “You Are Welcome Here” scholarship offers a minimum of 50% tuition fee as their scholarship, so it is a huge fund that international students.
3. ZVE Global Scholarship
Now, this particular scholarship is offered by a company called Z, which provides education loans and credit cards to international students studying in the US. The scholarship fund is worth up to $25,000, with different requirements and eligibility criteria. The cool thing is, that the scholarship is currently open for the spring intake and will likely also be open for the fall intake.
Proof of intent to study in the US is required, and the scholarship is open to undergrad and graduate students. You can check it out as well. The fourth one on our list is offered by an education loan company, Empower, and is called the Global Citizen Scholarship. Empower offers various scholarships, including those for women pursuing an MBA, specific STEM-based scholarships, and monthly scholarships for students.
The specific scholarship that caught my attention is worth up to $110,000, with different requirements. Both scholarships on the list, Z and Empower, are company-sponsored, and it’s important to note that you do not have to purchase to receive the scholarship. However, you do need to fill out their application form and apply separately. The fifth scholarship on our list is the same.
4. Incognito Scholarship
Yes, this is the big surprise that I had for you guys. Now, if you guys think that the name sounds familiar, then yes, this is by Incognito Blueprints which has joined forces with your truly crazy Medusa to offer scholarships to five students worth up to $5,000 based on academic merit and financial need.
Now, the selection process is going to be very straightforward. It’s free to apply and students who want to pursue an undergraduate, Masters, or PhD degree in the US for the Fall 2024 intake from any country of citizenship can apply for the scholarship.
